Membership
1.A General Terms:
New Members:
- Membership starts on the date the payment is received and is valid for 12 months.
- Membership fees are payable in full within 30 days of issuance of the invoice. Failure to make payment within this time frame will result in cancellation of the invoice.
Renewals:
- Members are eligible to Loyalty Discounts Program upon continuous renewal.
- Membership renewal fee must be received before the end of the membership period to continue being part of the Loyalty Discounts Program.
- Failure to make full payment before the end of the membership period will result in losing the loyalty discount and the original membership fees will be applicable.
- A member company can upgrade or downgrade their membership category at any time during their membership period.
1.B Payment:
In case of a bank transfer, if payment is not received within 30 days, a new application will need to be made to receive a new invoice.
1.C Cancellation:
Membership is not transferable or refundable and cannot be cancelled during the active ongoing membership period.
Events
2.A General Terms:
Preregistration is mandatory to attend any of MEFMA events.
2.B Payment:
In case of paid events, event registration will be confirmed upon making the full payment before the event start date.
2.C Cancellation:
By MEFMA:
- MEFMA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event.
- If the event is canceled or rescheduled, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and registered attendees will be notified by email.
- Sponsors, exhibitors, and registered attendees will have the option to either get a full refund or have a credit note in MEFMA records to be utilized in MEFMA’s future activities.
Training Center
3.A General Terms – Online Courses:
- Punctuality and attending the course on time are highly required.
- In case of an emergency that refrains the candidate from attending one or more of the course days, the candidate can attend the missing day/s in one of the next two scheduled courses without charges upon submission of a valid emergency proof.
- Failure to submit a valid emergency proof will result in the candidate paying the fee of each unattended day of the course.
- For better engagement and interaction during the course, the candidate should use the laptop to access the course instead of a mobile device along with keeping the camera on.
- The attendance report will be generated automatically through ZOOM, and the candidate will need to stay logged in for the entire course duration including the breaks.
- Certificates of attendance will be issued to candidates who attend at least 96% of the entire course duration. In case of missing more than 15 minutes of each course session, MEFMA reserves the right to withhold the course certificate and exam registration.
- On the last day of the course, the candidate will receive a course survey link to evaluate the course. Completing the survey and leaving feedback before the course ends is required to receive the certificate.
3.B General Terms – In-Person Courses:
- A certificate of attendance will be issued to candidates who attend the entire course duration.
- In case of an emergency that refrains the candidate from attending one or more of the course days, the candidate can attend the missing day/s in one of the next two scheduled courses without charges upon submission of a valid emergency proof.
- Failure to submit a valid emergency proof will result in the candidate paying the fee of each unattended day of the course.
- On the last day of the course, the candidate will receive a course survey link to evaluate the course. Completing the survey and leaving feedback before the course ends is required to receive the certificate.
3.C Payment:
- Course registration will be confirmed upon making the full payment before the payment deadline.
- The payment deadline for course registration is 7 business days before the course start date.
- Course fee refund is not applicable. In case of an emergency that refrains the candidate from attending the course, the paid amount will be held as a credit note to be used in one of the next two scheduled training courses or any of MEFMA activities.
3.D Cancellation:
By the Registered Candidate
- Course cancellation requests should be made at least 7 business days before the course start date to be accepted.
- Cancellation requests must be sent to info@mefma.org
- The paid amount will be held as a credit note to be used in one of the next two scheduled training courses or other MEFMA activities.
- Course cancellations made within 7 business days before the course start date would require the candidate’s submission of a valid reason for cancellation.
By MEFMA:
- MEFMA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course.
- Upon canceling or rescheduling a course, the registered candidates will be notified by email or phone.
- MEFMA registered candidates will have the option to either get a full refund or have a credit note in MEFMA records to be utilized in MEFMA’s activities.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances during the course, MEFMA reserves the right to reschedule the remaining days of the course with no applicable refund.
3.E Replacement:
- Registered candidates can be replaced with other candidates by sending a replacement request 2 business days before the course start date.
- Replacement requests will not be accepted if the registered candidate has received the course material.
Exams
4.A General Terms:
- Upon attending the full course sessions, the candidate can register for the exam as per the scheduled exams in MEFMA Calendar.
- MEFMA exams are conducted on a platform called ExamSoft.
- The candidate’s exam language must be the same as the attended course language.
- Exam registration deadline is 24 hours before the exam start time.
4.B Cancellation:
- Exam cancellation requests should be made 24 hours before the exam start time and before downloading the exam on the exam platform.
- Cancellation requests must be sent via email to info@mefma.org
- Failure to comply with the above will be counted as a failed attempt.
