Dr. Amro Kandil
– Civil Engineer since 1995 (specialized in project management).
– Worked in my family business in construction for 17 years accomplished several projects during that time as an example school complexes in 5 different governorates in Egypt , another the main office building of the ministry of Housing in Alexandria (among others).
– Left my firm just after the revolution 2011 to join GIZ (German international cooperation) as a consultant to supervise construction & O&M projects of waste water plants in Egypt.
– Earned my Master of Science degree by end of 2013 in Project Construction management from the Arab Academy for Science & Maritime & Technology.
– Started a career at Hill International to supervise 2 projects through until 2018. (Porto Sokhna at the red sea & Amawaj resort at the Mediterranean).
– Started with parallel at the same time achieving my PhD at sanitary Engineering (due encouragement of my firm) from the University of Alexandria, earned my degree by end of 2017.
– Professor & program manager at the Arab academy & the American University in Cairo (AUC) until now , with my work as a project manager at Hill.
– Joined The Grand Egyptian Museum with Hill as Consultant of Project until 2021.
– Founder & CEO of Kandil PM (my Private consultancy) with 2 major accounts as FM consultant.
– Lead Several research projects with University Of Alexandria regarding water conservation & sustainable solutions for soil lining.
